Our staff here at WBGU-FM is comprised of many people including BGSU students, faculty, and music enthusiasts in the Bowling Green and nearby communities. DJs are very knowledgeable in their area of music and many are music experts or even local musicians themselves. All members are required to pass a multi-week training program before going on air.

The executive staff is comprised of officers, individual department directors, and assistant directors. The station is led by our General Manager, chosen by the BGSU Department of Telecommunications, who oversees all station operations and appoints other officers of the executive staff.

DJs are scheduled air time for their shows by the Program Director after they have completed the training program as an intern. Interns go through a multi-week training process as well as being assigned a team to assist in a certain area of station operations. A major requirement is a significant amount of in-studio training with our DJs. Interns must also pass a written examination.
